Journal Writing-My thoughts on beauty pressure
1. What is the message undelying this video and what are your thoughts about it?
Answer:
The video is trying to stop the future generation from going through plastic surgery just to look better and encourages parents to talk to their children about it so they will not make that mistake in the future. I think that the message that the video is conveying is right. Now many people go through plastic surgery just to feel or look better. Some even do it to impress one boy .
2. How could the beauty industry manipulate the way females think about themselves?
Answer:
They could use models or actresses that look much better or have a better figure than the average female to be promoters for their product or plastic surgeries to make females feel bad about themselves and decide to buy the product or go through the surgery.
3. What could society do to encourage healthier self image among young ladies?
Answer:
Society can hold talks about the problem or give assistance to those who feel bad about themselves. They can also encourage young ladies to not be discouraged and have faith in themselves.

Day 1 Mac Attack 1-Activity 4:End-of-Day Reflection
I learned cheers and a dance routine,played games and did an icebreaker activity today.I also met new people and made new friends.I have learnt many important moral values today like being respectful to my fellow friends and peers.I choose to come to SST because I liked the way SST intends to reach out to the students and its hands on activities so I decided to come to SST.My aspirations as a member of the SST family is to bring glory to SST not only through academic results but also by CCA achievements.I learnt to be respectful when a person is speaking and listen to instructions given by a peer.
